Titbits Are Go!
The apotheosis of Keanu Reeves began with The Matrix, but it may surprise some to learn that the actor didn’t suddenly pop into existence with that mega-blockbuster. He was one of those guys, like Johnny Depp, who seemed to show up in everything and whom you were always happy to see, even if the film wasn’t great and his acting skills dubious. Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bram Stoker’s Dracula (a Coppola film no less), Much Ado About Nothing, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, Little Buddha, A Walk in the Clouds, The Devil’s Advocate . . . I miss that time in film history, when not every movie had to be perfect and the stars didn’t seem so far away.
